Love it. Very sturdy and solid. Have cleaned guns, mounted scopes. Was worth every penny. Received it quickly, will be looking to do more with Optics Planet.

Watched plenty of reviews and couldn’t decide if I wanted the stand or not.then Optics Planet had the seasonal Black Friday month and for a bit more I ordered the stand version. The only difference is the table top has adjustable feet for the bench. Wheareas the stand is very useful and can Still be used on a bench it has rubber bench pads on the folded stand but no adjustment so bench needs to be flat .The stand is very cool and pretty stable for 90%of gun use.leaves bench open for other stuff. Seems compared to Any miter box stand you would put a saw on.pretty darn sturdy.I do wish it broke down like a miter saw stand and could do both. Like if you had just the ultra then wanted the stand later. Best I can tell if you did that you would have the bench brackets extra but yes the clamps all come off and go right on the stand. Very solid and have not had any clamp issues like I’ve seen on a lot of videos .so far highly recommend. Especially when on sale

I have been looking at this product for a while and finally purchased it on the Black Friday sale.
I love the design. The frame is more sturdy than I expected. As others have said, the plastic knobs and plastic threads leaves something to be desired. My real problem is with the manufacturing and QC. I have seen better molding and bonding assembly from $2 products of dubious orgins.I should not have to take a Dremel tool to the mounts to make the sliding post operate properly. The mold used had the same defect on both bases. The post would not slide through the base at all (maybe with a hammer). For the threaded plastic knobs, a little plumbers silicon grease helped.

This is a dandy little vise that's portable enough to take to the range if needed.It's nice to be able to store it under the workbench and get it out of the way. Holds your gun securely and does not mar the finish.

My only beef is with the knobs that open and close the jaws of the vise. They are very fragile and it is easy to twist them too hard and strip them right off the central bolt, which ruins them. I've wrecked two of them this way. Tipton has replaced them at no charge, but it is still a nuisance.

If you buy this, don't over-tighten the knobs!

Was quite surprised to find this item came already assembled. All I had to do was slide the vise blocks into their slots and use it. This vise is sturdy and convenient. Would suggest using dry lube to help vise blocks slide smoothly.

I had thought about this cleaning vise for a while, but honestly, I was underwhelmed by the other Tipton vises I have had.

This thing is solid. It holds my rifles firmly in place, even during a good barrel scrubbing session. My only complaints / suggestions for yeh product:
1) widen the jaws on the gun clamps. I have external weights on my rifles and it is hard to wedge the hand guard in (I like to have the muzzle leaning over into a trash can when I clean)
2) some holes / slots in the clamp arms to hold cleaning rods. This is something that I have really liked on the previous cleaning vise I was using.

Highly versatile gun vise, You can tell right away it's made with quality materials. The thing is at the perfect height for a 6 ft average person unbelievably accommodating for any rifle shotgun or crossbow! The hand clamps can just about accommodate any position you need your rifle to be stored in, as you modify or clea. Comes with a couple trays to store your parts if you're dissembling or even assembling. Everything can be slid on the top rail which is nice to have especially when you're using it for multiple types. And the best thing I found is when it's not in use it folds up easily with a push of a button and can be stored in a corner for a quick access later
