This knife is awesome. The knife will really dress up your kitchen cutlery while being very functional. The workmanship is great and the blade has a lot of character. I have several Titan knives and like all the rest the sheaths are excellent. They double stitch the leather which is very thick.

This is a nice knife and there is a lot to like about it. I'm going to mention a lot of issues, but keep in mind I gave it three stars. So there is an up side, right? The quality of the Damascus steel is reasonable for the price and it appears to be a full tang. The scales of the handle are made from camel bone and have a finished appearance similar to a makita bowling ball, with lots of detail. And to be honest, I simply like the way it looks.

It is not without issues, however. The first issue is perhaps one that the buyer should realize by looking at the images. The blade is not as curved as a typical karambit. As you can see, it's more like a slightly bent tanto blade than a karambit. In a stance with your arms perpendicular to your shoulders, the point of the blade will be aiming to your side and not toward your target. To point the business end of the knife forward, you will need to rotate your arm across your body so that it is parallel with your shoulders. If this is natural for you, great. If not, not so great.

Here's an important pre-purchase bit of information - despite how it looks (and despite what it says on the Titan website) this knife does NOT have a serrated knife edge. The things that appear to be sharpened "serrations" on the convex side of the blade are just curved channels that are cut straight through the full thickness of the spine. The description on this knife is wrong. The total overall length of this blade is 11". The handle length is about 4 and a 1/2 inches. Cutting length on the blade is 5 and a 1/2 inches. Besides that, the Damascus pattern is absolutely beautiful. You can tell you are holding a one of a kind piece. You can definitely tell this was made by a person and not some robot or machine. As for the leather sheath it is real leather also handmade and hand stitched. This is a super unique find here on optics planet.

Knife was well balanced and fit the hand. Handles are very pretty and the shealth is heavy cowhide and well made. I have not used the knife yet but it did not come very sharp. I have sharpened the knife more and look forward to use it to clean deer.

I bought this knife because it was cheap didn't expect much out of it but when I got it this knife is well-built I like it alot it goes good with my collection I would buy from these people again they have good knives.

Just received it today but this is a very well built solid beautiful knife fits great in hand like it becomes an extension of your self. I have read so many bad reviews ALL from people that have NOT purchased a Damascus blade from Optics Planet, they all say looks like cheap steel poor quality etc but they judge without ever handling one, so for anyone debating on spending 1/3 of what other companies sell Damascus steel blades for I definitely recommend you go for it because this knife is truly great! Razor sharp right out of the box also this knife will be by my side for a long time to come!!! I will definitely be purchasing more Damascus blades from Optice Planet in the near future! This damascus knife tdk 091 from titan international knife is a great self defense tool it's a beautiful knife and hope to never use it for anything it's just to nice to ever get dirty but if you ever have to use it you can certainly depend on it doing the job at hand

This titan international knife tdk 182 is a great knife and a great price all titan knives are a full tang and are all rock solid and the blades are all killer to look at I have 116 of these titans so I highly recommend this knife as well as all titans
