I've not used this style sheath, but seems functional. Locks in well. Snaps tight. Easy right too left side access. Don't know the heat treated "process" (temp, time) used! We'll see! Uses. Self definse mainly. Back up on the trail. NOT A HARD TOOL! LIGHT DUTY! Over all. Good. Just HIGH dollar for hard uses!

Cons:
- "PRICE!"

- Self defense and concealed
- Self defense.

Well built, and razor sharp out of the box.
This knife is pricy for what it is, but the blade shape and handle profile are unique. I was shopping for a backup tactical knife for weakside carry and looked at everything available. This was my choice. Hopefully the 1095 steel holds up well. I don't plan on stabbing oil drums with it, but also don't want to have to baby the edge to keep it sharp. Time will tell. The sheath is very well made and has pretty secure tension. The "pull the dot" snaps are secure, the sheath won't come off gear or your belt unintentionally.

- Edge, blade shape and design
Cons:
- Price and possibly steel quality (supposed to be well heat treated though)
Best Used for:
- Defense, light bushcraft, LE duty.
