I appreciate the compact Mag. & Ferris rods placements this save space and keeps everything simple and compact. It is very functional. I would have really like it if some kind of a lanyard could have been attached to connect the rods to the sheath. I improvised and incorporated a connecting double loop onto the paracord wrap currently on my sheath but it is not as convenient as it could be. I would have also like to have seen a simple straight metal slim striker that could have swiveled on the connecting screw as a back up striker, but that is more of an after thought that would improve the product. Other than that I do like how it works especially for a down and dirty getting a fire started with minimal tools.
