Well put together kitchen knives. Handles are perfect. Blades are on the thick side for a kitchen knife, but completely usable. My mom's favorite knife when I was a kid was slightly thicker like these are, and it was also carbon steel, makes me reminisce. They come very sharp. The tip is a bit fragile. The tip on my smaller one came fine, but got bumped somewhere in my kitchen, and rolled over. Cleaned it back up on a file. They are best used standing, because of the handle angle. Sitting, well, you won't be resting your elbow on the table while using it. So if you sit to process food keep that in mind. Over all, I enjoy the fun shape, they cut very well, and quickly, they feel great in hand, just watch the tip
