I first handled this knife at an emergency preparedness event and fell in love with it. The knife fit well in my hand, was balanced as a quality knife should be and felt very sturdy. I decided to order this knife and put it through abuse just to see what it was made of... I have to say, it was awesome! It cut, sawed and pried everything I could think of. I used it to strip branches, bark off trees, digging rocks out of the ground and for fun I took it fossil hunting and used it to pry rocks and fossils out of the cliff. This is a great knife for the survival/outdoor enthusiast that wants a very practical knife for an emergency or camping bag. Though this is a "good looking" knife it is not a fighting style knife, it is a tool. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a do all knife.
