According to TriggerTech:
Due to a wide variance in Remington action timing, we do not consider our Diamond trigger compatible with factory Rem700s which is why it is not offered with a bolt release. What typically happens with an incorrectly timed action is that it will follow on hard closing. Generally the cocking piece will hit our sear too early or inconsistently, which makes it not possible to use a 4 oz trigger safely and reliably.
