Not what I expected
I bought the VCOG for its quality optics. The problem when using the kill flash is that you can see the kill flash blur in the scope. I wasted my money on this product and do not like the eyepiece protector either. It produces more of a tunnel vision effect when the scope is on 1 power. The only reason for giving 3 stars is that when the product is closed it does a good job of protecting the lenses, other than that I do not recommend buying this item.

Good Caps/QC Issues
This is the cap designed for the VCOG. The piece screws into the body of the scope which is really nice and keeps it in place. However, I have found trijicon accessories in general to be lacking in quality. In this case my killflash grid's coating has obvious high spots and peaks in the objective area! Unacceptable.
