This optic is not for duty use. Outside in full daylight the optic works fine. The dot is well illuminated by the fiber optic by the sun. Indoor use is a different story. The faint reticle works okay in low light, but as soon as you turn on a weapon light the dot is washed out. Also if you are in a low light building and aim outside into a bright environment the reticle will wash out from the bright light. This can be overcome by running lower third cowitness iron sights, but this is not ideal. I expected a little more from a name like Trijicon. I'm sure the sight would work fine for hunting purposes, but I cannot recommend for life/liberty or duty use.

- No batteries required
- Works well in daylight
Cons:
- Very reflective front element.
- Heavy
- Does not work well in low light situations

- hunting
- Target shooting
