It was this or the mro, but I decided to give this a try. I'm glad I did. The dot is smaller than I thought it would be, which was a plus. The back of it is the only drawback, as it looks like a battery compartment, but it's not. That was the reason I chose it over the mro, no electronics to go bad(not that it's a concern with trijicon) and the eye relief is amazing! The mro is like looking through a non magnified acog and its turrets block your view.
It's big, but not too big, even on a full size ar-15 it will look at home, unlike an rmr and is 2x's the size of the mro but looks a little big on a sbr, but that eye relief!!!! It's about the same size of an eotech with the same eye relief, minus the need for batteries.
