As a left eye dominant right handed shooter, this optic is the only one that works for me. I would highly recommend this product from optics planet. The fiber optics makes worrying about always on battery life a worry of the past

Sure, it will double the value of your gun overnight, but the function will also double. Build tough, battle tested and great all-round scope.
Pros:
  • Functionality
Cons:
  • Price $$$
Best Used for:
  • Better Aim

ACOG is proof that you get what you pay for.

by Sam, Verified Owner from MO, United States Written on July 30, 2021
I'm finally doing well enough to afford an ACOG but I can't afford three so I bought a Primary Arms 3×32 prism scope for my .300BO and the 5×36 version for my other 5.56 ar. The PA prism scopes are okay for the money but they just don't compare to a real ACOG. The 4×32 ACOG has the perfect balance of magnification and field of view. The PA 3×32 prism just doesn't quite magnify enough for my old worn out eyeballs and the field of view is like looking through a straw compared to the ACOG. The PA 5×36 prism has a bigger sight picture than the 3×32 but the magnification is only slightly better than the ACOG but it has significantly less field of view. The clarity of the glass in the ACOG is noticeably better than the PA prism scopes as well. I would give the ACOG 5 stars all day if it just had a smidge more eye relief - you really gotta get your eye right up close to get the full sight picture and if you don't have the stock firmly against your shoulder you'll end up hitting your eyebrow. That and the high price of this scope knock it down to 4.75 stars for me. I still think its worth the price if you can afford it.
Pros:
  • Clarity of glass, field of view, ideal level of magnification for its intended purpose
Cons:
  • Very short eye relief, high price tag
