Most Helpful Positive Review Nice Caps
Decent caps that do the job. Not very expensive. They flip up and close securely. Had a little trouble getting them installed. They were a little tight and took some effort to get them to stretch onto the scope. I don't think they'll be coming off very easily. Which is a good thing. Like I said, the...

Most Helpful Negative Review OK, but not necessary
I've had similar flip caps that I liked on my Leupold hunting rifles scopes so I gave these a try since the price was right. The flip caps work as expected. The front cap does requires the TA91 killFLASH in order to be mounted (which they tell you) and I am okay with. However, the killFLASH does ...

Can't beat a 4x32 Acog

by Travis, from FL, United States Written on July 9, 2015
I have it sitting on a Larue RCO mount. I have removed it dozens of time without ever losing zero. The field of view is massive and the clarity of the glass is amazing. You get what you pay for and I am very happy with this purchase. Optics planet gave me an awesome deal as well.
Pros:
  • Clarity, field of view, light weight
Cons:
  • None

Not so fast...

by bvondal, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on April 2, 2015
"Did they send the wrong ones" ? One end is loose , one end is tight. These are cheap for a reason. I have a set for a 6x48 Acog and they are worth every cent. Not so much with the 4x32. And not to mention a rubber band that holds the kill flash in place. Really?..

Works great

by Sniperpimp, from WA, United States Written on February 25, 2015
So, I have not had any of the problems I have read about this product. The objective lens cover easily went on the killflash. The ocular lens cover was significantly more difficult to instal. I recommend heating up the lens cover by immersing it in hot water for about 5 minutes. Then place the cover on your countertop or workbench and press the ACOG into the cover. I was nervous when I did this as I didn't want to damage the scope. Take it slow and perhaps put some padding under your workplace. Luckily mine went on straight and I have no problems with the flip cap staying closed. For the record I put this on a TA-31F with the bosses on the eyepiece.
Pros:
  • Works great for intended purpose
  • Keeps lenses clean
Cons:
  • Slightly difficult to install
Best Used for:
  • All purposes

Excellent Product

Covers were a little tight to get on, but once on were exceptionally functional and performed quite well, not to mention they stayed in place! Also gave the benefit of protecting the optics lenses when not in use. I definitely would recommend to others!

trijicon 4x32 flip cap

by Don, from TX, United States Written on December 19, 2014
I think that these are made in the most simplistic way.that they could so you would have to buy the killflash. In all my years involved in small arms, including a small stint in the military from 1971-2000 I can't believe trijicon hasn't perfected a built in lens cap for the civilian people. I can understand why when deployed these cheap knock offs are not issued to the 11b or 0311 forces. They are not worth the monies, hard if not impossible to force over scope ends. Not.durable in severe heat or cold. Come on guys you make a heckler of a tube, lets.bring all accessories up to trijicon statue quo.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • Cheaply made
Best Used for:
  • molds for fishing wieghts
  • covering eyes to get a combat nap

Don't waste your money on these caps. You will be returning them for sure. I had a tough time getting the objective cap on the killFLASH and was UNABLE to get the eyepiece cap on. Measure your scope ends and buy after market caps.

Trijicon 4X32 flip cap set

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from HI, United States Written on June 21, 2011
I have an RCOM4. Eye cap fits fine. Objective cap fits a little too tight around killflash and reduces the caps ability to hold itself shut. Might look for a butler creek cap for the objective instead.
Pros: Made for acogs so no need to guess cap sizes
Cons: Should be included with acog
