I hate to be a pessimist, but these are awful.
I saw all the reviews about how tight these are but got them anyway. They're awful. Getting them on is hard but that's not the problem...once you have them on, they're so tight that the shape distorts such that the covers will either be very hard to close or won't stay closed at all. I would have gladly paid more for a better product. Look for something else folks (and good luck finding some caps that can flip all the way back and against your optic, rather than sticking straight up like Cameron Diaz's hair in "There's Something About Mary."

Not perfect for ACOGs with a RMR/Doctor on top
This will work perfectly for the majority of ACOG's, unfortunately, it does not sit deep enough when there is the chassis system for the RMR on my Trijicon. Because it sits a little shallow instead of the flip cap opening the whole unit pops off. I'm still manipulating it, trying to find a permanent fix. So caveat emptor for this if you do have such a set up. Other wise this will do the job perfectly.
