Bryan's Review of Trijicon AccuPoint TR-23 5-20x50mm Rifle Scope, 30 mm Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)

I was waiting for a Vortex Viper PST.. GLAD I DIDNT!!! The glass on this scope is just as clear as that of my Nightforce and better than my Leupold VX-3L scopes. The elevation & windage knobs have a good feel with solid clicks and returns to zero very well. The "Amber Dot" is dimmer than i expected but the low brightness of the dot is ok because of the fact that it does not cover up a small target at a long distance. Goes to show they put some thought into the scope for real world use and the illuminated dot is more than just added "Stuff" like so many other scopes. Nice that it does not require a battery... The sunshade is also a nic addition. The only thing i have an issue with is having to raise my head up to look down at the power ring to adjust the magnification. Vortex got that right with their design, but it seems that the Vortex PST's dont really exist.
Pros: extreamly clear glass
Cons: cant see power selection ring from behind scope
