Most Helpful Positive Review Quality scope
I was waiting for a Vortex Viper PST.. GLAD I DIDNT!!! The glass on this scope is just as clear as that of my Nightforce and better than my Leupold VX-3L scopes. The elevation & windage knobs have a good feel with solid clicks and returns to zero very well. The "Amber Dot" is dimmer than i expected ...

Most Helpful Negative Review Trijicon 5x20x50 Amber mil dot
Recieved the scope and really like it the clear glass. However had a factory default that caused the wind age to max out and can not be sighted in. Since this is an issue that can not be seen until the scope is mounted optics planet will not replace the item after mounting I'm forced to go through t...

Excellent long range scope

by Paul O, from NY, United States Written on July 22, 2025
I bought the scope for my tikka 6.5 and loved it so much, purchased a second one for my 243 browning. The glass is very clear and the green dot allows for rapid target acquisition. The 30 mm tube allows for excellent light transmission and the fiber optic illumination enhances the green dot greatly. In low light the tritium is the perfect brightness. Can't beat military tested.

Excellent glass, fiber optic illumination is amazing as well. It holds zero great, and has held zero over hundreds of 50 bmg rounds. The gun is definitely not accurate but I feel much better knowing the scope will always do it’s part.

great scope

by Birdman, from FL, United States Written on January 29, 2020
1st I am not going to knock my Nikon Monarch 6-24x50, it has bee a great scope but I think lens technology has gotten better. The Trijicon Accupoint is 5-20-50 is a great scope, low light properties are great and where I hunt if you are going to see a nice buck it will be in the 10-15 minutes before it is illegal to shoot. all in all a great scope, I mounted it on a Remington 700 P in a 300 RUM caliber so I guess only time will tell if it can handle the recoil. My reason for replacing a perfectly good Nikon is that my son has the same caliber in a lighter rifle and his accuracy start to get inconsistent so we mounted spare scope and accuracy returned.
Pros:
  • I like not havin to use a battery for the illuminated reticles.
Cons:
  • haven't found any yet.
Best Used for:
  • long range deer hunting

Trijicon Quality

by MissionCritical, from TX, United States Written on January 6, 2020
Another quality product from Trijicon, and as a bonus the price point is competitive for other products in this class. As is to be expected, the optics glass is clear and crisp. Adjustments were very precise and only took a few shots to get a tight group.

Trijicon +

by DWoppa, from KS, United States Written on June 18, 2019
Consistent zero on heavy magnum calibers. Illuminated reticle is not as bright as expected, but very visible. The parallax adjuster is well placed and easy to use. Sunshade could be shorter and still effective, a bit too long when mounting low to action and/or 20/30 MOA mounting.
