Camocarmen's Review of Trijicon AccuPower 1-8x28 Rifle Scope MOA Segmented-Circle Crosshair w/ Red LED
LOVE this scope. Feels like cheating. Seriously, it feels like I shouldn't be allowed to use this scope when other people in my same division don't have comparable equipment. Glass is clear. Love the reticle. Note I have the green and it's not quite daylight bright but it's caused me zero issues. When I need an illuminated reticle, the background is usually dark enough to contrast. Someone else mentioned illumination bleed-though. Yes, my scope has some bleed-through on the numbers on the lower elevation line. I noticed it when I received and evaluated the scope. Since then, I've used it in 3 competitions, one was a regional. I never notice the partially illuminated numbers in competition - ever before the buzzer goes off. Turrets are nice. Good clicks. Tracks well. Took me less than 8 shots to zero/confirm zero at 100 yds (2 at 25, 2 at 50, and 4 at 100 yds). Walked it out to 225, 330, 515, and 550 easily. I've thrown it into barrels hard enough to knock off the front sight for my offset irons. This scope hasn't lost zero. I've shot in the rain extensively - no fogging. It's not too heavy (I'm a small female) or too long and it's well-balanced. It does drink batteries if one leaves the illumination on for a week . I'm not sure exactly how many hours it took to drain since I left the switch on Sunday and checked it again the following weekend. The field of view is very generous. No issues transitioning targets. The scope doesn't come with a throw lever :( I bought one and installed - works nicely. Scope also is a true 1x. I have no problems at all shooting with both eyes open. Only real problem with this scope is that one is not enough. hahaha
