Trijicon AccuPower 1-8x28
LOVE this scope. Feels like cheating. Seriously, it feels like I shouldn't be allowed to use this scope when other people in my same division don't have comparable equipment. Glass is clear. Love the reticle. Note I have the green and it's not quite daylight bright but it's caused me zero issues. Wh...

Accupower 1-8
Clear glass ....very robust and well made. Edge to edge clarity on glass is good. Not NF clear but good. Turret adjustments are positive and also lockable. The battery life lasted 1 day when I left it on continuously on setting 7. If i were to nitpick this scope it would be their illuminatio...

Just a simple easy to use optic that gets the job done
I put it on my BCM 14.5 and it stretches the gun out easily to 4-500 yards and on target which is all i can ask for with my skill. Love this thing

good solid scope
solid scope, highly recommend for 556/223. solid aluminum, with the mount it gets a little heavy, especially with a piston AR. eye relieve is solid. just trying to hit 200 characters so i can get the discount code.

Awesome scope
This scope is bombproof!!! Very easy to zero and the locking turrets are awesome. Only complaint is that the reticle gets a little big at 8 power but still a great optic to put on an ar15 or ar10 platform

Trijicon Accupower 1x8x24
Great optic. Clarity of glass is excellent, oversize turrets and zero stop are definitely a plus. I wish the battery life could be longer, but it is what it is. I have the green reticle and though I have seen other reviews of the green reticle not being bright enough at its highest setting, it works fine for me. This is my first green (always used red) reticle so I haven't much experience with it. I would definitely buy another. Rock solid Trijicon quality.

Very solid optic!
I am using this on my Scar 17 in a Scalarworks mount, and it is holding true after 200 rounds. Arguably one of the best 1-8’s for the price. Glass is clear, turrets are crisp, and the eye relief is pretty generous.
Pros:
- clear glass
- Heavy Duty
Cons:
- Heavy
Best Used for:
- CQB
- long to mid range

Very balanced optic
This optic is an excellent balance of quality, affordability, features, performance, weight... everything one considers when looking at quality glass - this one has in a suitable balance. The illumination range is great, the low end isn’t excessively bright, the high end is bright enough. Glass clarity is very good - not like German glass, but for the price and application, more than adequate. I’ve spent thousands more on 1-8 optics that have a slight edge over this one, but not enough (in my opinion) to justify the price difference.

Good glass & turrets, not the best for daylight 1x use
Bottom line up front: if you plan on truly exploiting the 1x feature of your LPVO like a red dot site, go with something that is proven daylight bright (e.g. Vortex, Leupold, Nighforce, etc.). Having said that, I really like this optic. I liked the reticle design, but it's NOT daylight capable (which was claimed by some reviewers on youtube). Outdoors, at best it's usable at max power on an overcast day, or in a shaded environment; otherwise, it largely gets washed out. Other things I noted were: When at 1x the segmented circle reticle has the appearance of an EOTech reticle. I appreciate the locking turrets, which also have positive clicks; no mushiness. I also appreciate the small magnification lever vs the knurled ring some other optics have. The illumination settings seem to have a "wall" where they go from barely illuminating to usable (going from the 5th to 6th setting); that's in an indoor, well-lit room. It's heavy, but most of these LVPOs are. Lastly, the battery life is very short; I believe the manual says 30 hours, but that quickly adds up if you do any amount of shooting. There was some bleeding of the illumination into the Mil ladder (as noted by some other reviewers), but it wasn't enough to bother me. On a side note, the optic came with the reticle canted 5-10 degrees to the right. Although very frustrating to have to return a product, Trijicon's customer service was first rate; I had a brand new optic w/in two weeks of mailing it back.

Accupower RS27 LPVO
I decided on this FFP, LPVO for my LMT LM308MWS, and I am not dissappointed. Edge to edge clarity, contrast and brightness are exactly what I expected from a Trijicon optic in this price range. The reticle is usable at 1x, and quick for me to adapt to because it's similarity to the reticle used on EoTech close combat optics (donut of death). I went with the green reticle, which I'd read is easier for the eye to pick up than red, and found this to be true. The 1-8x range suits the capabilities of this particular rifle as it is currently set up with a 16", 1/10" twist barrel. The reticle works throughout the zoom range, and made zeroing the optic very easy as well. The 0.1 mil adjustments of the turrets allows for a precise zero, and the locking ability of windage & elevation is a plus. My only complaint is that the elevation turret would not align properly when I attempted to set the zero stop, thus it is off by 0.1 mil, perhaps this is something Trijicon will address at some point.
Pros:
- Excellent eye relief
- great reticle
- 34mm tube
- Edge to edge clarity
- Good contrast rendering
Cons:
- Zero stop is .1MIL off on the elevation turret
Best Used for:
- SAMR/DMR, deer & hog hunting

Built Like a Tank
This scope is sitting on top a SCAR 17 which is known for abusing optics. I have 1000 rounds fired with this scope mounted no issues. Adjustments are positive, FFP is always a plus. The reticle great easy to work with, it is slightly thick at full power so that could hurt if you planned on taking a long shot but hasn't affected me shooting out to 500 yds. Brightness setting all the way up does bleed off a little into the numbers, not an issue for me because I rarely have it on during the day and would only use it at low power before sunset on a hunt. Be aware this is not a light weight optic. Now if you have the money laying around and are comparing this to the NF ATACR, I would buy the Night Force. I however couldn't justify dropping an extra 1000$ on the NF. Overall I am very pleased with the scope, it is great for the price range, very robust and plenty of awesome features.
Pros:
- features
- reticle
- rugid
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- hunting
- shooting

Best 1-8 for the money, and only second to the NF ATACR....unless you have S&B money.
I'm very happy and impressed with this optic, especially for the price. I currently have it mounted in a Geissele standard 0 moa super precision mount, on my HK MR556A1 and paired with Black Hills 77gr TMK. It's a very precise pairing, I am blown away at the accuracy I am able to achieve and how intuitive the LPVO is to use. The reticle makes a very awesome "box of death" at 200 yards @ 8x on a man size target. Just get center mass in there and you don't miss. Very fast to find targets and start getting hits. If you hear people tell it on the streets, the only way to go is a NF ATACR 1-8. This scope completely fits the role I've placed it into, which is a "tactical" setup, and it is more suited to be a "see it, send it" type optic. It is perfect for an assaulter setup, or a do it all rifle, 2 or 3 gun, or a ranch rifle. That's not to say it isn't well suited for precision work, but there are better options out there if you're trying to shoot very tiny groups at distance with a 1-8x. I will say, the NF ATACR does indeed have better glass, but this is right behind it. The Trijicon glass is slightly better than the Vortex Razor HD II glass, and has similar edge to edge clarity. I will say there is no better option out there at this price point. I will be purchasing 2 more for other projects. I'm very happy with it.
Pros:
- Turret adjustments
- Glass clarity
- FFP
- magnification adjustment
- Target Transitions
- Useable at any magnification
Cons:
- It's not a NightForce
- Zero stop is .1MIL off on the elevation turret
Best Used for:
- Law Enforcement
- Tactical applications
- Ranch rifle
- 2 or 3 gun
- Self Defense rifle
