After some practice... - Trijicon AccuPower 2.5-10x56mm Rifle Scope

This optic is currently mounted on a SCAR17s (a platform known for beating the snot out of scopes). Anyway, the first range session was messy to say the least. It was my novice ability with the rifle and the .308 cartridge but at both 100 and 200 yards, groupings were all over the place. Could never find any real consistency at either distances. Fast forward to a week or two ago and at 100 yards. The Trijicon AccuPower 2.5-10X56 functioned to its potential and then some. All day long my groups were 1 1/2 inch and better using all sorts of branded ammo. The only complaint was that the illuminated reticle was washed out from the bright sun and under shade. During less sunny days, dusk and night this scope's illumination is perfect and adjustable. However, it was not visible in bright sunlight. This didn't effect my shooting in anyway. The glass is perfect, the craftsmanship is true Trijicon and I would be more then happy to recommend this scope. The price is right. I'm not hunting with it but shooting paper at distance is a blast.
