Believe the hype
I've read a few reviews before I bought this......everyone pretty much said the same thing.....these optics are all they are hyped up to be. "Buy once/cry once"....it all applies. They are built tough. It's hard to explain but even though it's low powered...you can see the target so clearly from long distance. Works really well with the 17S. If you're on the fence.....DO IT.
Trijicon ACOG
Great scope for close in and long-range shooting. My only comment is that the reticle is very small, the graduation points are close together and difficult to differentiate for those longer shots.

Highly recommend. Mounted on a SCAR 17 and it did great. Crisp, clear glass. Reticle is easy to find, BDC is very helpful. Lightweight.

Excellent Optic!
Excellent for all the reasons people rant about Trijicon. Built like a tank here in the US, super clean glass for a sharp sight picture, equally sharp reticle, well lit horseshoe without the need of batteries, and a solid mount that has held zero for 80 rounds thus far. Only thing left to do is get out there and start training with it!

Flawless glass
This ACOG is absolutely perfect! Even with the lower magnification, objects in distance are crystal clear! This is the second Trijicon ACOG that I have owned. Look no further. This is the optic you want.

My first ACOG
Love this optic. I've tried LPVOs and didn't really get comfortable. This is simple, robust, LIGHT WEIGHT, has awesome clarity, and a great field of view. If you haven't tried one do yourself a faavor and try it. LPVO are all the rage. And have their value. But for the reasons I mentioned above I prefer the ACOG. Especially with my 56 year old eyes. Just works for me. I'm definitely adding another to my collection.

Perfect for SCAR platform
As always Trijicon Acog platform nicely designed. First one I have for FN SCAR so want to put more rounds thru it. Otherwise would be 5. Nicely done

I tried a few different scopes, but I found out the ACOG style of scopes works the best for my needs, and they were at a excellent price.

TA-11,ACOG:SCARcperfectiin
I’ve had my 17 for about 9 years. I have been running an Eotech for the first 8, but the lack of magnification is tough on 66 year old eyes! I went to the TA-11 with a green horseshoe, and I can now hit steel consistently at 300 yards. The eye relief is great, and I can see the targets between shots. This has been another buy one cry once, like the original rifle purchase. This optic opened up another whole world for this rifle. I am very pleased with the combo. I’m going to put another on my SCAR 16!
