Trijicon ACOG 3x30

by J, from WV, United States Written on July 25, 2015
Bought this scope for home defense. Took it to a friends house to zero it.
Once we zeroed the scope,we decide to play a little bit. With this scope I was able to shoot the lid off of a pop bottle at 75 feet. Shot and exploded the primer on the back of a shotgun shell also at 75 feet. My fried hung a "one inch piece of pink tape" from a tree branch at 100 feet, I fired 3 shots and all three shots hit the one inch long piece of tape. I love this scope! Well made, great for home defense, law enforcement or military. Needs NO BATTERIES!!!
Best Used for:
  • Home defense, LEO/Military use

love it!!!!

Looks sweet. Totally solid and nice bright chevron. Pricey but worth it. No batteries, heavy duty, wayterproof- what is not to lime? I tend to buy things with dial purpose if 'things go bad'. This will fit the bill quite nicely.

Great lightweight optic

by Ronboy13, Verified Owner from MA, United States Written on January 18, 2015
My first Trijicon scope. Its reputation is so justified. Bright retricle on a crystal clear image. Incredible lightweight design add virtually no weight added. Moving on to their Accupoint line as well.

Well after a lengthy wait I finally got my acog and to my surprise as I pull it out of the box it has a air bubble in the viewing lens. So I get to return it and wait again for OP to presses my return 10 days and then a few more days to refund my money so I can get a different acog. Oh and It never included the Gerber multi plier. Just my .02

What's not to like?

by Ronboy13, from MA, United States Written on January 8, 2015
Crystal clear optics with bright reticle. Extremly light weight and compact. Since Value = Price x Quality...the quality of this scope justifies the price and the overall value. Looking to add other AGOG's down the line.

Great optic

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from IN, United States Written on August 29, 2013
This is really a fantastic optic. It is durable as can be along with being the perfect balance of fast target acquisition and magnification for longer range. The eye relief is actually the biggest asset though. It blends the target acquisition speed and eye relief of a red dot with the clarity and magnification of a high quality illuminated scope.
Pros: eye relief, clarity, versatility, durability, no batteries, trijicon
Cons: Cost

Best of the Best!

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on May 5, 2013
If you life depends on your target, look no further than Trijicon optics. They are not cheap and will put a dent in your bank account but you get what you pay for. I have heard ACOGs that have been shot but the reticle was still functional!
Pros: Heavy duty, Reliable, Crystal Clear Optics
Cons: Cost

TA33R8-KIT

by Legacy Reviewer, from GA, United States Written on April 28, 2013
For a scope that cost over $1K, I would have expected a perfect exterior finish. My scope came with a poor finish on it or either it was a demo. Either way, I am not happy. The advertisment also does not tell you that the tritium in the scope is only guaranteed to illuminate for 15 years.
Pros: Small, easy to remove and replace, comes in nicely padded case and a scope bra.
Cons: Pricey and the horseshoe retical is smaller than advertised.
