I love this optic and the ecos reticle. Not hard to use and relatively simple to understand once zeroed. One of the only draw backs to the ACOG is the eye relief as I always find myself having to move it more to the rear of the rifle. But other than that its durable and will serve you well.
Pros:
- Sturdy, durable, quality.
Cons:
- Eye relief sucks. Expensive.
Best Used for:
- Tactical
- Bench and field shooting

This scope is as good as it gets for quick acquisition of targets from 0 to 300yds. And it matches my FDE rifle. Zero did not change when removing and replacing scope on rail. Trijicon is a wonderful company with good people, and I have never had a bad product from them.
Pros:
- Ease of use
- Clarity
- tough

Love this optic. The first one I purchased actually came with a couple small dents on the side, which was a disappointment. The exchange process was a bit of an effort due to some unusual circumstances but to make a long story short, the big takeaway was that OpticsPlanet made it right and came through with good customer service in the end.
The ACOG itself is excellent. The QD mount is rock-solid and a nice improvement over the standard ACOG thumbscrew mount for those who intend to mount flip-up sights as a back-up. The side-offset irons are a nice addition and I believe only available on this model. The RMR is the standard type1, always-on. It's an RMR so the glass is clear, reticle highly visible and construction robust. The main ACOG sight is standard 4x32 side but with a nice FDE color that's well-matched to popularly available accessories. Mine is installed on a custom 16" AR flat-top and it blends well to the black/FDE scheme.
The picture through the scope is amazing. Crystal clear, and exceptionally bright with no curve or blur around the edges. The cross-hair and range tick-marks are clearly etched and easy to read, with a small reminder of the intended caliber along the bottom edge of the sight picture. The tritium/FO illumination is excellent as well. The tritium is extremely effective in dark environments and the fiber optic gathers an significant light, despite being slightly shorter than standard dual-illumination ACOGs. It works well for the fine, cross-hair r...

I've purchased this combination before and it's worked out very well. Yes it is a little pricey, however, quality typically doesn't come cheap. It's sights in quickly and has great eye relief. It's also short enough that there is ample rail room for a night vision or thermal scope.
Pros:
- Rugged, sights in quickly, good eye relief

This setup will turn any head. I took for granted having an ACOG when I was in the service and I'm glad to have one of these and it's especially nice with the RMR. Went with the red reticle and it's easy to see in full sunlight and low light conditions and I'm positive it will work well with night vision.

You can't beat this scope package for anything from an AR15 to a SAW to be honest. Perfect magnification for single eye or dual eye viewing in nearly any situation and the RMR makes it even more versatile. Viewing in low light conditions is phenomenal through both sights. There's lots of great sights out there but this is a stable for any tactical platform.

Highly recommend this ACOG and RMR for any rifle with rails, it's a 2 in one device, with an RMR for close quarters combat, and an ACOG for when you want to reach out and touch someone. Worth the money and investment to my Sig516. The FDE color scheme matches my rifle perfectly. Prices on opticplanet.com change in a blink of an eye and discounts come and go, and I was lucky enough to score my TA31 for the cheapest price out of all the other online shops selling them. Opticsplanet.com is by far the best online weapons store in America, and they even ship to me all the way in Guam. This scope was super cheap and the shipping was super fast Super fast.

Great setup and surprisingly little weight added considering what you get. Currently sitting on an 18" platform and had no issues consistently hitting my target within 1.25" out to 100 yards with various ammo brands and weights. OP matched the price from another site and even credited me further when they released a coupon code a few days after my purchase. No question this investment was worth it. RMR adds additional capability when height over bore is factored in.
Pros:
- Durability
- reputable manufacturer
- clarity of glass
- Repeatable accuracy

I reviewed a dozen or more optics before deciding on the Trijicon 4x32 ACOG Dark Earth Brown Riflescope w/Illumination. I'm very happy I did for it has been an exceptional optics set-up. I highly recommend it on any AR platform weapon system. Also, customer service through OpticsPlanet has been fantastic ... Thanks!

Similar to the ACOG I used in AFG only this unit combines a Red Dot system for quick acquisition in CQB situations.
I love the brown color because it doesn't heat up as badly as the black ones do when sitting in the sun. I chose the red cross hair set up because green doesn't work as well in forest or jungle environments. This unit is compact, lightweight, comes with BDC for 16 inch barrel and has quick disconnect mounting system for picatinny rail. Brilliant optics, you just can't go wrong with Trijicon, and Optics Planet has the best deals on the planet!
