First off, all of the ACOG benefits are there. Light, durable, etc. I'd also say the reticle is an improvement over some of the standard reticles. Like all ACOGs, sometimes the illumination is too bright and for such an expensive scope, something more elegant than electrical tape would be nice.

The ACSS reticle is useful and practical. Under 4x power, it's a tad small. I'm able to see the distance and ranging numbers with my dominant eye. My other eye struggles to see the small numbering. The ranging reticle is ok, other than too much thinking if you're not dealing with a person standing upright. There's so much real estate in the scope that I'd think an inverted T from 100 to 600 would be much more useful. It's probably better under 6x magnification. Under 4x magnification, I'd consider this a good and practical scope, just not "great".

It requires a special mount for the MRO if that's important to have on the ACOG vs in front and canted. The tritium in the reticle is too bright for night vision goggles. A clip on night vision device would be needed for that particular purpose.

I had held off getting an ACOG just because I couldn't understand why they cost so much. Now I do and the price is not unreasonable. The glass is amazingly clear and the 4x mag is very good for anything 500 or closer. This reticle does not lend itself well to this scope. I had to get online and memorize where the numbers are because they are so small that you can't read them. I think I could use this effectively with some practice now that I have memorized what the different lines mean, but that is a moderate detractor. The illumination is great. It seems like it is very rugged. Super easy to install. I like this reticle but in this form factor it is not so easy to use. I may pick up another, cheaper optic with the same reticle somewhere down the line and see if it is more user friendly.

All i can say is Bad A""" scope thanks to the Marine & Demetrius on YouTube I am using mech tech carbine 45acp Head shot on steel plate at 100yards every time this scope actually price cheaper than most Trijicon

I love this optic, incredibly clear! The ACSS reticle is awesome and was getting me easy hits out at 500 yards! The optic is light weight and durable.

One of my eye piece screws did come out but Trijicon got me a replacement right away.

This is an amazing optic. You really can’t ask for a tougher peace of equipment. Glass is crystal clear. The reticle is simple and perfect for my simple needs. Shooting with both eyes open and still making use of the reticle, despite being a 4x optic, really gives you the best of both worlds. I’d recommend acog any day.

Works greats with my Scar 17S and my Sig M400Enhanced AR. I have three Trijicon scopes all have been great scopes. Optics Planet has been the best place I have found to buy gun items.
