Trijicon hunter mk3 thermal 60 mm review - Trijicon Electro Optics IR HUNTER MK3 Thermal 60mm Weapon Sight w/8x E-Zoom

I initially ordered the mk3 35mm instead of the 60 mm because I was concerned about the smaller field of view with the 60 mm. The former was out of stock and I was offered a discount on the 60 mm so I decided to give it a try. I have been using the scope for hog hunting and my concern about the smaller field of view was unfounded. I can easily identify hogs at 400 plus yards. After my first shot I have no problem finding running pigs for additional shots. The image quality is excellent. Controls are easy to understand and use. My only complaint is that sometimes the targeting reticle doesn’t appear in viewing screen. Happened once with low batteries and a battery change corrected. Occurred again with adequate charge and turned scope off and then on corrected. I have used the scope for about 3 weeks so I will need to use it longer to see if the reticle issue is going to be a major problem.
