Perfect Mount

Here's a great mount for your mini-ACOG! It fits perfectly and does what it's supposed to. This mount was too low for my cheek-weld, so I added a 1/2" spacer below it and it's perfect. So, depending on how your cheek-weld is, you might want the taller one. I specifically like this one since it's so low profile. I was suspicious if it'd be too low. Knowing this, I wasn't surprised. I prefer the low profile mount since it's harder to get stuff stuck under it. The 1/2" GG&G base that I got combined with this mount is absolutely perfect! It's higher, but still has a smaller space to get things hung up on.

Only need very minimal amount of Picatinny real estate...

I choose Trijicon ACOG 1.5X16 for the new Mini-30 Tactical. It has a Ruger picatinny rail on it. The rail has a limited picatinny space. I have 2 options -- Vortex Sparc II or Trijicon ACOG. I ended up installing the Sparc II on the other toy for its co-witness feature... Good for 100~200 yds,....using Hornady SST steel case.
Pros:
  • eye relief
  • Sturdiness
  • Trijicon quality
  • Minimum amount of picatinny space
  • Trjicon ACOG feature
Cons:
  • Pricey!!!!!!
Best Used for:
  • 100 to 200 yds
  • ~ limited picatinny space

Trijicon MM07F Compact ACOG Riflescope LOW Special Ring MIL-STD Rail Adapter (.9")

This is a bomb proof way to mount the little compact ACOG with special ring mount. I wish it was not so expensive, but you get what you pay for. This puts the ACOG as low as possible, which is what I needed.
Pros: Bomb Proof
Cons: Wish it was less money.
