Most Helpful Positive Review These do NOT fit the new US Made DE's with 8 Rails

FWIW, I have these exact same sights on one of my older IMI Israeli made DE's... they work great. I bought a second 2011 US made DE (the one with the 8 rails on top of the barrel)... these sights will not fit the newer version. Trijicon is still working on them.

Trijicon Night Sight

I have many of the Trijicon night sights on several other pistols and love them. And reason for 1 star is because they don’t fit. Was extremely disappointed when I went to install the Trijicon DE01 Night Sights for Desert Eagle .50 Caliber and the front sight just slid off. I’m aware of this being an issue but I figured that if these were made for this specific pistol that would have been issued.

Nite Sites ~ Desert Eagle ~ 50 cal/Magnum

I must admit, I was leery of the idea, that with all the power of the sweet gun I was installing them on; that they would not be able to hold up. Very happy to inform You ~ They held up Outstanding ! And, they not only did fine with being strong enough; They indeed work better than I expected in the dark and dusk. Thank You very much, for making such superior quality sights. Have them installed by an old time type ~ Gunsmith. It was more than worth it. A fine Christmas present to myself. In fact, my favorite. Went through a box & and You'd think that they were installed in at the bloody factory. Thank You all, and have a lovely and safe ~ Holiday Season. Could not be more pleased and happy. 12 / 2015

Trijicon DE01 Night Sights

The Trijicon DE01 Night Sights for Desert Eagle .50 Caliber is a very good product. Better than I Hhad expected thou it has to be installed by a gunsmith that has the proper tools. Great service as well, staff seems to be very knowable.

Good and Bad

These are great sights, if you have an older DE.
I have a USA made DE stamped Minneapolis, MN and these fit great on both the rear and front.
Later, I picked up a 44 BBL and I guess they changed something between when I bought the original weapon and the 44 BBL because the front sight does not fit. It just falls right through with at least a 1/16'' of slop gap. Just be careful.

Desert Lights

Desert Eagle Night Sights

The sights look GREAT and are very functional. The only issue was installation which required special gunsmithing with cutting. Luckily I asked a friend to help install who had the appropriate equipment/drill press. He said the American-standard sight wedge doesn't readily fit into the Israeli-metric groove. Also, the slide is made from some of the hardest, heaviest gun metal so simple filing/grinding would not work. After the cutting they fit and work well. I highly recommend but have a gunsmith ready.
Pros: Sights look good and function well
Cons: Installation require special tools/cutting.

Night Time Bad Guys Beware!

Simply the best upgrade to my Desert Eagle. The sights were manufactured 2 months prior to purchase according to the tag on the package, and it shows! The sights are super bright and glow wicked green. They were easy to install and the white rings even improved day time shooting compared to the old standard iron sights.
