Remington 870 Sights
Front sight blade was very tight fit on my brand new gun. The only way to get the old sight out was to drive it with a hammer and punch. (I don't think one of those screw type sight pushers will work.) I used a block of hardwood to backup the sight ramp and another piece of hardwood (instead of something metal)to install the new sight. Be careful and patient and it will go as well for you as it did for me.
Pros: Top notch product
Cons: Front sight difficult to install on my gun
Best tritium low light sights for 870P
Back when Remington was owned by Freedom Group and turning out substandard products I noticed the Ohio State Patrol was trading in their 870P's. Bought 3 and a couple of them arrived with 18" barrels and the adjustable rifle sight set up. The sights are able to be replaced and the Trijicon RE01 was the obvious go to. A decade+ later I'm buying two more sets from Optics Planet to replace the originals. Awesome for low light varmint hunting here on the farm (coyotes, racoon, woodchuck, etc). The sights provide acceptable, consistent accuracy for the use of Foster Slugs; 8" @ 100 yds.Great sights from a great vendor. Thank you Optic s Planet.
Pros:
- Trijicon = awesome kit
Cons:
- Tritium eventually must be replaced
Best Used for:
- Farm varmints, truck gun

Trijicon Remington 7400,870 Tritium Night Sights Front / Rear
These are the only sights to put on your rifle or shotgun. I put two pair on a couple of Remington 7400's. They are much better than the Meprolight as it is easier to get a better sight picture with the white outlined tritium tubes in the daytime. Night time they glow nicely for such things as hog hunting.
Pros:
- Nice and bright tritium
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Look at the list of Remingtons that they fit

Didn't work for my Rem 760
Apparently a good product but didn't fit my Rem. 760 as reported. Probably works well for slug gun, but it didn't work for me. Not sure why the mix up but that's how it went down. I suspect if it would fit the front sight base, it would be workable.

Great night sights for the money.
I have put these on my remington 870 and loved them. I could not find them for a mossberg 500 but managed to put them on a slug barrel with a little help from a gun smith and an elevator from brownells. These are great sights. I highly recommend them for your main sights or as a set of back-up sights to a scope. You will not be dissappointed.
Pros: easy to put on and quality night sights
Cons: wish trijicon carried them for mossbergs.

Great addition to a Rem 870
I am using these on an 870 Police Magnum and they are a huge improvement over the stock rifle sights. It is a little tought to remove the originals and place these if you don't have sight tools, but it isn't too bad.
Pros: Bright and easy to see
