An easy way to transition into pistol optics without a lot of money
I wanted to get into a red dot optic for my glock (see my review for Trijicon Red Dot) but wasn't sure if I was going adopt this method permanently so I used this Glock mount and it is fantastic. Setup took a few minutes and I didn't have to modify my gun. If you really like the red dot concept on the pistol the best way to go is probably milling the slide so it will sit lower but I have no immediate plans of incurring the additional cost. I highly recommend this mount

Sig mount for Tijicon red dot
works great. Easy install once rear sight has been removed. Allows for quick removal of red dot for cleaning slide and battery change; remounts to hold zero
