Most Helpful Positive Review Trijicon MS04 red dot
I spoke to tech services at Trijicon re: the red dot having a halo, not as crisp as an expensive product should be; he explained that the non glass optic exchanges purity of the dot for longevity...... reasonable, but not mentioned or demonstrated in advertising. Still a fine and durable product. Pros: lightweight and durable Cons: red dot is not as crisp as I had expected

This is probably the lightest red dot on the market, which is just what I wanted to install on my S&W model 41. Adjustment is smooth and easy.
Pros: very light, easily adjustable, very accurate

Improved accuracy for aging eyes

I am not a competition shooter, I was just beginning to lose some visual acuity and it was affecting my accuracy. This is a great sight, I like the 4.0 MOA better than the 8.0 MOA if you are planning on shooting at farther distances. The sight is very robust and seems like it can withstand some punishment but I haven't really tortured it too much. For the CCW folks I carry this concealed all day long without a problem and it does not affect comfort or concealability. The best advice I can give is to practice presentation a lot. If it's not just right you may not see the dot. I am not talking a big learning curve maybe a few days of dry practice and you should be good to go.
Pros: Improved accuracy at long distances, great battery life, retains zero when changing batteries
Cons: requires a lot of practice presenting the pistol for quick, repeatable sight acquistion
