RMR Sealing Plate
I had my Glock Slide milled to fit a Trijicon RMR. When mounting the RMR directly to the Glock slide, this mounting plate is necessary because the RMR is wider than the Glock slide. This leaves the battery compartment exposed. The RMR sealing plate closes off the battery compartment as the name of the product indicates. There really isn't much to say about it. It works as intended.

Trijicon RMR sealing plate
Plate fit perfectly on Trijicon RM01 Type 2 when mounted to FN 509c Tactical as well as FN FNX-45. Mount is secure and kept internals dry when used in light rain. Obviously I’m not going to drop my firearm in water to see if it stays dry, but I am confident it will keep out water until it can be picked up and wiped off.

Doesn’t come with screws
Need this plate to seal the optic properly but it doesn’t come with screws even though it was a suggested purchase with the RMR by optics planet. Should have a better description by optics planet. Ordered screws from somewhere else.

Solid sealing plate
Not much to say here, plate does what it’s supposed to do. I’ve called and talked to Trijicon support and they said it’s not always needed (that depends on the mounting situation) but won’t hurt, so I run it with all RMR’s. Why not spend a little bit of money here to protect your RMR and make sure you can keep it running.

Excellent product
I purchased this little plate with the optics bucks I received. It’s a great little product considering all it does is protect the housing from water or any other fluid. It doesn’t raise the sight by any amount that I could tell. The packaging was questionable but at least it still came with a sticker for my collection.

I purchased the plate after having mounted the RMR on my firearm, which required me to re-zero the sight. I have not tested the level of waterproofing the plate adds, but I don’t intend to fire the weapon underwater so it just to prevent rain or other accidental fluids from entering housing.

If you are using the trijicon rmr for any kind of serious use I recommend getting this sealing plate. It increases the submersion a good amount while keeping the foot print the same and height almost identical.
