Do yourself a favor and purchase the battery operated version. This dual illuminated version is not very bright in dark to bright scenarios. The cost of the rmr is very high and compared to the battery operated version of the sight you definitely do not get the brightnss I own three red dots rmrs all on glocks. They are very rugged and dependable. I am giving the dual illuminati ton version of the rmr a low three stars mainly because of the difficulty in dark to bright scenarios is poor,
