I’ve only tested this once with drills from 7-to-15 yards until I used up 50 rounds. On my 19X it’s a natural pointer and the big ole green dot is easy to pick up. Very quick sight.
Pros:
- easy installation
- Great for occluded shooting
- Green dot picks up well
Cons:
- Would not work well for me past 12-15 yards

Amazing Green Dot w/ Dual Illumination that works for you w/o battery concerns. Stays bright enough in dark environment shooting into the light. Not sure if it’s the light capturing bar or the Tritium insert… It just works!!! Rugged, Great look, Reliable, Amazing Reputation, etc, etc, etc…. I can’t promote this enough!! I’d say buy one when you can, but I’m saving up for another!!
Pros:
- Strong
- easy to sight in
- Battery free & low profile
Cons:
- cost
- hard to find in stock
Best Used for:
- Great for old eyes
- Quick or long shots
- any PDW, Handgun, Shotgun

Great combo with my ACOG. Works as intended. A little dull in fading light and pre dawn. It is a fantastic product with an excellent warranty and reputation.

I run a few optics on some of my weapons...and they are all battery powered. Have had a couple of them fail prematurely (even though I change out the batteries every year) while at the range, and luckily had a spare battery on hand to get the optic back up and running. Trijicon offers this RMR optic that does not take a battery...instead it runs off ambient light when there is some, and tritium when there is no ambient light. The dot is always crisp and easily acknowledgeable despite the lighting conditions and backdrop. Makes for a very reliable setup that does not have any electronics to fail.
Cons- does not ship with any metric screws for mounting. And unfortunately not available in the more compact RMRc footprint. Otherwise a fantastic optic!
Cons:
- does not ship with any metric screws for mounting
- not available in the more compact RMRc footprint
Best Used for:
- EDC, range, home defense, competition

Love it. I tried getting the Amber Dot, but I had to return it in favor of a green dot. I had a really hard time picking up the Amber Dot looking at mixed wooden environment. Green Dot is so much faster and easier to pick up. This thing is built like a tank and works perfect.

This Trijicon sight slipped right on my FN 509 tactical and sighted in easily. Low profile is convenient for conceal carry. The Tritium automatically illuminates and adjusts for lighting conditions and the perfect size 9MOA is ideal for quick target acquisition when needed.Excellent product for a great price. I have several Trijicon products and I highly recommend the brand; along with EOTech.
Pros:
- Low profile
- No battery
- Green dot
- high quailty great price
Best Used for:
- Self defense
- Target shooting
- Conceal and carry

Hard to see in daylight and when transitioning from indoor to outdoor. I would get a battery powered version before I got the always on version. Also the dot disappears when you have a white light on at night. Do your research for yourself and find a optic that you can change brightness.

This purchase was for a gift, I have one personally and love it which is why I choose for a friend. Very durable. Shipping was way faster than expected I would recommend to anyone wanting to add a red dot to their pistols this has been a great option for.

I have a couple of Trij products and bought this RM05 for the no-battery feature. Amber in daylight is great but in night/dark situations it's very faint. Searching for the dot is not ideal. Hate to say it but battery is still the way to go.
Pros:
- Sleek and compact. Typical Trij ruggedness
