I wish they had a "maybe" choice for product recommendation - Trijicon ACOG Mount RMR Adjustable Red Dot Sight w/ MOA Dot Reticle

I had been thinking about buying a Glcok MOS and ordering an RMR to go with it for some time. I've had a red dot Eotech on a rifle for several years. I finally bit the bullet two months ago and got the RMR and installed it on my new G19 MOS. I could not get the dot to properly cowitness with the Trijicon tall Iron sights I had order no matter what I did. I sent the RMR back and Optics Planet replaced it without a whimper. I received a second RMR and installed it and on this one the dot drifted off zero after I shot a few times; way off zero. I sent the second RMR back. I got a third RMR and this one finally zeroed correctly and the dot does not drift. Many thanks to Optics Planet for standing behind what they sell.
I think this will end up being a good pistol to shoot, but you do have to get used to bringing the gun up and acquiring the dot through a rather small window. You have to practice this because it is not natural. It remains to be seen how reliable it will be.
