Sight works great. Glows in absolute 0 light. Little tricky to install as you have to drill a 1/16 hole in the sight. Otherwise its a great addition. Esp over the stock SP101 sight. I will be buying more of these in the future

Trijicon front sight
Very good front sight for my Ruger SP 101. Made a big difference picking up the target. I read a few other reviews about the difficulty of the install. Mine went well. Just had to file the sight a bit to get it installed on the gun. Other than that ,it arrived on time.

Would not fit in the sight groove!
Purchased for the Sp101. I was immediately displeased to find that the sight was too wide to fit in the groove without milling thr groove or filing the sides thus affecting its dimensions. I ended up not even installing after 3 hours of trying to make it fit. I wrote to Trijicon and now am out the 70.00. I reviewed videos and no one else had this issue so im thinking mine was one that slipped through quality control.

A great sight.
It’s what you expect from the best brand in optics and sights. Even though their products are pricey, you still get your bang for a buck. They surpass any other sight as far as durability and visibility. Highly recommended.

My ability to gain quick acquisition and align sights in complete darkness is a tremendous improvement on the stock sight. This brand is used by military and police nationwide, and that speaks for itself. I researched many sights for the Ruger SP101 but there's really nothing better at this time.

I purchased a Trijicon Ruger SP101 Front Night Sight RR14F for my Ruger SP101 357 from Opticsplanet.com.
It makes sighting much faster, easier and more accurate than the fixed black front original sight that came with the revolver. Trijicon makes exceptional sights.

Trijicon Ruger SP101 Front Night Sight RR14F
Installed in a new Ruger SP101. Great sight, easy target acquisition. Much easier to see and a huge improvement over the stock sight. Like others, he only complaint is the sight does not come with a pre-drilled installation hole. Had my gunsmith do it and was done in a few minutes.

Much better than stock sights
Installed this on my Ruger SP101. Gives a vast improvement over the stock front sights, plus the added advantage of night visibility. The only complaint is the sight does not come with a pre-drilled hole for installation, you will need to drill this to install.

Trijicon Ruger Sp101 Front Night Sight RR14F
Absolute improvement over the stock sight! Green vial is bright and works well in near total darkness but my senior eyes were very impressed with the white ring in daylight. The sight will cover the target so some personal adjustments need to be made but target acquisition is much faster! I didn't want to damage either investment so I had mine professionally installed by my local gunsmith. This is not my first Trijicon purchase and it wont be my last. Yes, I would recommend this sight for anyone wanting to improve their SP101 shooting skills.

The Trijicon SP101 front sight, like a factory replacement must be drilled to install. Its a good idea to use a new front sight cross pin.

Trijicon sight for SP-101
I like this a lot. While its designed to be visible in low/no light, I also like the white dot which makes it easier to see than the factory sight during the day. With the dot centered in the rear notch, there is a semi-circle of the front sight above the top of the rear sight. This is OK, but takes some getting used to.
