Can't go wrong
Other reviews I have read would lead you to believe that the sight "washes out indoors. This isn't so. The only time I had the pipper wash out is if I aim at a bright light while in the dark, or at some thing bright on TV.
The 24mm lens isn't as large as most others but it is in no way a problem. Both eyes open, dominate eye or weak eye.
The triangle pipper is excellent, much better than a dot. It aids in: pinpoint accuracy, range finding, and "ambush" or leading a target. It is Large enough that it is very easy to acquire yet the point of the triangle makes it very accurate.

Long Term Review
First of all I have to say that Trijicon products do not disappoint. I initially acquired this optic approximately 3 years ago. My family gifted it to me as a Christmas present. I initially mounted this optic on an AR 15 which it stayed on for approximately 2 years. During that time this optic performed flawlessly. It maintained zero consistently after repeated mounts and dismounts the swap out for my scope for longer distance shooting. The accuracy is incredible as is its functionality, durability and construction. I liked it so much that I switched it to one of my tactical AK-47s which gets used quite a bit. The increased recoil did not affect this optic at all. I have shot thousands of rounds through the AK-47 and the optic continues to maintain its zero with no problem whatsoever. It has been dropped, jostled around and at times just plain abused due to the training and it has not skipped a beat. I am accustomed to both eyes open shooting so the 24 mm objective does not bother me in the least. This optic will remain on this AK-47 for the duration of its life. I have since removed the EoTech on my AR15 and replaced it with a Trijicon MRO which is a quarter of the weight of the Eotech and is somewhat of a hybrid between the Aimpoint T1 and the Eotech EXPS-3. Trijicon is a product which you can bet your life on, especially this optic which requires no batteries whatsoever.

DO IT, DON"T WAIT !
This is absolutely one of the very best reflex sights I have ever owned. It is mounted on a tactical AK-47 which is known for its recoil. This site keeps it's zero consistently after having put thousands of rounds through this particular firearm. There's a great piece of mind in knowing that I don't have to fiddle with any controls to turn it on or off or worry about batteries running out or new unit shutting down at the wrong time. I am a firm believer in the concept of less is more. The site is light and extremely durable. It has suffered through the elements and shines through like a champ. I especially love the triangle reticle due to the precision that it offers as opposed to just a regular dot. I have an EOtech EXPS-3 mounted on my KR 15 battle rifle and prefer this site over my EOtech.and has a smaller profile which I prefer. The knowledge that the tritium and the site will last anywhere from 12 to 15 years is also comforting because as you know the sites don't come cheap. You absolutely get what you pay for and more. Site acquisition is quick and the site picture both eyes open is great. You can shoot with more precision obviously with one eye closed for that reach out and touch something shot. The polarization filter is also a great add on. Most of the time I just go without it but there are times when it is helpful. Don't delay this is an item well worth having on your firearm of choice
