Effective but,

Keeps your sight picture crisp and allows you to use your reflex in bright lighting situations. Just be aware that it needs constant adjustment during repeat firing. The focus ring could use a bit more tension as it will rotate from the recoil of the weapon. All in all makes the reflex much more versatile, and helps with degrading tritium. Would I depend on it in a life or death scenario, not likely.

Necessary componant for the reflex sight

I deem this to be a necessary component for the reflex sight, particularly for tactical use. It is well put together and allows for sight use in head-on light conditions that would normally wash out the reticle.
Pros: Allows you to use the scope in normal washout conditions.
Cons: Darkens sight picture a bit.
