Most Helpful Positive Review ACOG 3.5x35 Amber Chevron .223 Reticle
This is my first ACOG. It is very clear and bright. The Amber color reticle is much easier to see than Red. My eyesight is rather poor so the very fine small lines that makeup the drop ballistic lines is too small for me to see. Also, they squeezed the 200 and 300 holdover all within the actual angle of the chevron. I guess that is how it must be since that is the way the ballistics of the 223 work -- in other words, the move up from 100 to 200 yards if a very small upward distance. For poor eyesight, that can be hard to manage. Regardless, that is my problem not the scope's. Awesome ...

Great but be carefu which reticle color you get

by Dan, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on April 27, 2022
The TA11 is probably the best all-round ACOG in the whole lineup. I live in Florida and really should have guessed the Green reticle is probably not the best option for this biome. This is a fantastic optic and I really have no complaints apart from I now need to wait to exchange it for a Red Chevron instead.

Others may claim the green is a different wavelength that is easy to pick up optically; my claim is that it just blends in too much with the surrounding area.

I'm giving is 5 stars because it really is an awesome optic.

TA11 Review

by NEM, from TX, United States Written on February 24, 2022
Very user friendly. Clear glass, bright battery-free illumination from the fiber optic. Longer and heavier than the TA31, but much more generous eye relief. Great comfort for a fixed optic, easy focus with both eyes open.

3.5-35 Acog

by Amac, from WV, United States Written on October 19, 2021
I called to speak with a salesman about purchasing an Acog. He was very helpful, went through all of the in stock inventory, gave me a few different options. Approximately 20 minutes later he gives me the total and says “ hold on,I think I can knock down the price”. Well, almost $200 off the total and 3 day shipping. No complaints here.

Plinking Perfection

by N.A.F.O.D., Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on June 16, 2018
Got this as an all around optic for plinking. There were so many choices and this was one of the most expensive. The bindon aiming method is great once you get used to it. It's like a red dot, but has magnification when you switch to your dominant eye.

Pew pew pew

by K-Rob, from WA, United States Written on March 26, 2018
This product Works flawlessly. Very pleased with this optic. It was very easy to sight in. I find the green easier to see in the daylight. Trijicon is expensive but worth the money in my opinion. I will definitely buy another one in the future for my next 300bo build.
Pros:
  • No batteris
Cons:
  • Somewhat heavy

ACOG is the Best

by Deer Stalker, Verified Owner from LA, United States Written on October 22, 2017
From the recommendations I received, I expected the ACOG 3.5x35 to be a great scope! I was not disappointed. It has preformed flawlessly. I have this on on one of my AR15s. I am saving up to get one for my AR10. Makes it twice as much fun to shoot.
Pros:
  • Easy to see and easy to zero in.
  • Easy to see the Chevron and easy to zero in.
Cons:
  • None that I am aware of.

Agog 3.5x35 best defensive rifle scope made

by a nobody, from NJ, United States Written on May 12, 2016
This is my 2nd Acog. It is well worth the money. I find the bullet drop chevron and lines easy to use. Excellent eye relief allows for easy mounting. The lighted chevron gives me quick target acquisition. MY only complaint is this 2nd Acog came in an unsealed box, for this amount of money, I expect a new unopened unit.
Pros:
  • visible in any lighting conditions
  • Quick target acquisition.
  • Easy to zero and use
Cons:
  • None

Bad Bad Bad

by Nick, from CA, United States Written on March 7, 2016
Awsome awsome scope. I can see why people spend the money on these. I was concerned with how big the TA11 was until I saw it. It looks like an average scope and so now I realize that the TA31s are sorta small. Green Chevron is beautiful. Perfect brightness. Came in a really cool case. Don't think I'm gonna get bored with this for a long time.
Before I mounted it, I took the scope to work and around town, looking through it and I can't believe how impressive it is. I chose this one because of the enhanced eye relief. Trade off is size. Trijicon lies about the 2.4 inch eye relief. It's more like 3. Or 1 to 3.5 I should say.
Pros:
  • Duriblity
  • No battery to replace
  • Clarity/brightness is outstanding
  • Looks/ cool factor
Cons:
  • price
  • fixed magnification
Best Used for:
  • SHTF
  • WROL
  • Showing off to your friends

Versatile and rugged

by dayhill, from AL, United States Written on December 11, 2014
I love the no battery aspect of this sight. It is versatile and very rugged. I have this type on several of my ar's. The ability to take off and maintain zero with its compact size make it suitable for all real world uses. Optics planets price was also very good.

Great scope, clear optics, well designed reticle, can't ask much more

by Legacy Reviewer, from CA, United States Written on February 24, 2014
This is an excellent scope if you need a bit more eye relief than the TA31.
The TA31 requires you to get quite close to it, where the TA11 is much more generous. Only drawbacks are size and weight.
But if you want to be able to mount up more quickly and get a fast sight picture, the TA11 is the winner.

Also on higher recoiling guns, the TA11 will have much less chance of 'scope eye'.
Pros: Awesome eye relief, clear glass, easy reticle to work with, bright illumination
Cons: Heavier and bigger than TA31, field of view narower than TA31 w less magnification
