Most Helpful Positive Review rubber eye piece...
excellent, for blocking out shadows, and looks cool on your ACOG scope. a necessity for good grouping. Pros: blocks out shadows Cons: none
Most Helpful Negative Review Great idea, less than stellar delivery
Asa usual, Trijicon makes a product of good quality material which would hold up under realistic conditions. Unfortunately, it's not great when it comes to functionality w/o some help. I bought for an ACOG with reflex site (Trijicon). There's really not enough space to install over ACOG optic and ha...

It’s nice to have but by far unnecessary. Don’t waste your money on it.

Rubber eyepiece

by DT, from NC, United States Written on July 21, 2018
This could have been a great product but it doesn’t seem to work right. While it kind of fits,it doesn’t stay on. There’s no way for it to stay attached. It’s a slip fit but because of the slightly raised ring around the occular and the two mounting tabs, it flips off with the brush of the hand. Too bad for the product and too bad for me because I just wasted money that could have gone for something else.
Pros:
  • Rubber is light weight
Cons:
  • No way to firmly secure
Best Used for:
  • wasting money

Nice touch for a nice scope

by Timbo, Verified Owner from MI, United States Written on July 1, 2018
This is a very nice touch for a very nice scope. It provides a sophisticated look and also a convenient added level of protection for your eye. 10/10 would buy again. And I did, I have 4 of them now..

Fits nicely on my 4x32 ACOG with RMR mounts

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on May 29, 2013
I have a newer ACOG that now has the mounting bosses for the RMR mount RM35 built onto the eyepiece. With this in mind, there is minimal room to mount this rubber eyepiece. It still mounts ok without it falling off. What I may do is trim pieces off the side to clear the bosses so that it will be a little more secure.

Best feature of this rubber piece is that it aids me in quick positioning to look through the ACOG since it's positioned well for a reference of eye relief.
Pros: helps you locate eye relief quickly
Cons: none

Rubber Eyepiece for Trijicon Rifle Scope

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from CO, United States Written on February 18, 2012
It's no problem to take the rubber eyepiece off at the end of the day before putting the scope cover on. I just didn't want to risk permanently "creasing" the rubber by leaving the eyepiece on the scope. Next time I'll buy TWO!
Pros: Very soft and pliable, fit my scope perfectly, "really easy on the eye!"
Cons: None really, I kinda wish they had included some type of dustcover

Rubber eyepiece

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from RI, United States Written on April 11, 2011
Seems to me to be a bit pricey for what it is. I was surprised to see that the fit wasn't anywhere near tight enough for my 4x32 acog. I had to put a small black zip tie around it to make sure it wouldn't fall off with any minor bump. On the good side it helps you to focus by eliminating any peripheral vision and it never hurts to have a cushy piece of rubber in between your eye and the scope.
Pros: It really helps you to focus on your target by eliminateing any peripheral vision
Cons: cant be used with scope coat. overpriced
