H.D.'s Review of Trijicon Tenmile TM5056 5-50x56mm Rifle Scope, 34 mm Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)

This is a 50 power rifle scope that I fully intended to put on a 6.5 x 280 improved rifle for long range shooting targets and prairie dogs. This scope is a major disappointment anything above 30 power is not very clear. I read a lot of reviews on this scope before buying....only one person had a bad thing to say about this scope....I should have listened to that one person and stayed with Nightforce ATACR 7-35. IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO SHOOT LONG RANGE STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCOPE !

  • The reticle is great...love it.
Cons:
  • The scope is worthless above 30 power !
Best Used for:
  • tent stake or paper weight
