I bought three of the 15" guards to use on Blackout builds. It's not a bad hand guard. The one thing you are going to want to do is get an end cap for it. The muzzle end of the guard is a bit thin, and more than likely will bend if you give it a good hit; a cap will help to take the blow. Really, if you hit the end of the guard that hard, you have got other issues going on. The hand guard did come with it's own barrel nut.

  • Staggered slots allow for picatinny rail placement
