The hand guard is Lightweight and fairly slim. Not a bad installation at all if you have the tools to do it with. Good product for the price. If you are looking a high end hand guard this is not it. If you want something similar to high end products at a discounted price this is it. Remember you get what you pay for though. So far so good on the one I purchased though. Over all a great product for the price.
Cons:
- took a long time to receive

I wanted a easy to install guard that had tight connections. I installed this guard in 5 minutes. I like the look and feel. This is my second Trinity Force guard. Easy to install. Fix is good. Sturdy construction.

I bought this hand guard because I wanted to go get rid of the fixed front sight on the AR and wanted a longer reach for greater stability. This guard did exactly what I wanted. It is easy to install provided you know how and have the tools to remove the old front sight and the barrel. This applies to any fore grip.
This handguard has slots for venting to aid in cooling, but may be used in mounting accessory rails but care must be taken to get proper alignment for the slots. Only thing I would like to have seen is some sort of locking screws for the hand guard to prevent from coming loose. I use a drop of Blue Loctite and so far so good. So far I have only shot a couple hundred rounds through the rifle since the change on the hand guard and it has not come loose yet. I like the feel of the unit in the hand and the added reach. The guard does get a little warm but not hot, I had no issues with it in that score. My only kicker is no locking screws, but keep in mind the price was right and to get more slots and lock screws you have to pay twice the price.

The ease of which this foreend installs is phenomenal. It is a great looking piece, also. The only reason for leaving a star off, is the strength of material. It probably won't take a lot of abuse and the barrel nut is of the same quality. Still, I will probably buy another from them in the future.

I only gave it 4 stars because I thought the barrel nut seems cheap. I wish they had included shims to align the gas port tube holes to the upper better. It looks great and functions perfectly. It's not a high dollar handguard so don't expect high dollar quality. But I like it fine. It's a perfect fit over a low profile gas block and hides the gas tube and block on a 24" barrel. You'll have to do some modification if you want to mount a swivel for a sling or a bipod.
Pros:
- Lightweight
- Looks great
- easy installation
- Great price/value
- Sturdy Aluminum Construction
- Nice fit over Low Profile Gas Block.
Cons:
- Cheap Barrel Nut
- No Shims Included
- No Sling/Bipod Mount

Barrel nut threads are too loose and im afraid it could strip either the nut or the front of the upper if torque to max .I put one at 65 and it held but thread match is definitely not up to American standards as this is made in China .

The hand guard is very light and sleek looking. The reason for the 4 star is because you can not use the regular end cap screws. Need to find button head screws to use for the end cap. If end cap and screws came with it, it would have been perfect.

Good fit and finish. A lot stronger than it looks. Very sturdy but the center section the ridges are not sharp enough or the groves are not deep enough. Feels too slick for a good hand hold. Addition of a little grip tape solves that problem. Overall works good.

This handguard looks cheap and feels cheap, and the coating appears to be sprayed on with Krylon paint. If you are a first-time builder, on a budget, and don't care if you have Chinese products on your AR, then this handguard is for you. Personally, I would be embarrass if I had it on my AR at a competition.
Pros:
- Lightweight
- Cheap
- Simple design
Cons:
- Made in China
- no instructions included
- Useless web site
Best Used for:
- First time builder
- Buyers on a budget
- Excessive Abuse

This handguard is priced significantly lower than its competitors products and though it is not modular it's all you need for competition. It weighs in right around 12.5 ounces which was a significant reduction compared to my ten inch quad rail. Install was incredibly simple and the guard looks good and feels great. Very sturdy and secure. I am just over six feet tall and need a longer guard than most people, this one is more than long enough for me to fully extend my support arm and still have room left over. When initially installing it I accidentally damaged the threaded end. To my relief it still fit and felt secure but I called the company just to see if there was anything they could do about it. Even though I admitted the damage was my fault they told me to send it back and shipped me a completely new one with no questions asked. Every experience I have had with this company has been quick, easy and enjoyable and I never had to talk to a machine. Overall excellent product and customer service.
Pros:
- Lightweight
- Sturdy, nice looking
- easy installation
- Priced well.
Cons:
- aluminum can bend if hit hard enough
