My review for the Mk2 Alpha collapsible stock
Highly recommend this stock. The package from Optic Planet arrived on time and in good condition. The stock installed on the lower easily and is very smooth to operate. The stock fits onto the shoulder well and is comfortable.

a collapsible that hates to collapse..
Waited 3 weeks for this stock to come in. When it finally came in packaging was actually pretty good for the price.. when to install on the buffer tube (milspec) and fought for 5 min just to get it over the last setpoint... Collapsed stock and when i went to extend, it gets hung up on the set points...

Best stock for my AR - longest length of pull i've found, and cheap
Yeah the fit and finish could be better, but it provides a longer length of pull and decent buttstock pad. So if you're a taller person and wanting an economical longer length of pull than a standard magpul triangle, this one is for you.
Best Used for:
- AR-15 stock, Taller people

This is the thing you don't buy for any build!
Ok, this thing is garbage I'm not going to sugar coat anything here. It got here late, I had to call Optics Planet to get them to ship the order. The plastic bag it shipped in was split open when it got here, and it was probably due to the cold and rough handling so I don't really care about that because I understand the reason. The reason I rate it one star (I'd rate it negative five if I could) and call it garbage is that it does not work for it's intended purpose at all. I could not get it on the milspec buffer tube of my AR at all, the inner diameter of the thing is just too small. The mechanism to "adjust" the "stock" also prevents it from going on the buffer tube because the pin WILL NOT retract enough to be able to clear the bottom of the wall that is at the rear of the channel that it is supposed to ride in. The only way I could see to even get the thing on was to take the "adjustability" out of it by removing all the parts, and also to take a few millimeters of plastic out of the inner diameter of the thing, which would ruin the "durability". For all of you looking for a good budget stock JUST DON'T BUY IT! and I urge Optics Planet to test all the products they sell from now on just to make sure that they even do what they are supposed to.

piece of junk
Stock is made to be a fixed position there is a small pin that has to come out to be able to press a tab into the paddle so ya can get the internal pin that hold stock in position to go low enough to get it to slide on the buffer tube it is difficult to press and adjust an if ya put pin back in ya can NOT adjust it. Also it is poorly made because it floops all over on both a commercial and a mil spec buffer tube. Chinese junk. returned mine the next day, went to local G S got a Magpul
