Gary Kilpatrick's Review of Triumph Systems Pivotal Trainer Turning Target System
The target is very easy to assemble, and is light enough to carry for short distances. It reminds me of a old video game I loved called Hogan's alley. The target gives you a myriad of choices, bad guy, good guy with camera and a middle no- target presentation. What I think is the coolest is the random single user mode. It allows me to set the pivotal target
on automatic and displays the targets with preset delay times (including holstered). About 3-5 minutes of intense shoot/no shoot and I have to take a break. Long guns are just as fun. I have knocked seconds off my draw time, and it forces you to look at hands, which could keep you out of jail. Dry fire training allows you to practice your draw and fire.
I live in the country and retired (21 yrs) infantry with 5 + years in the 75th Ranger regiment. I have trained with the pivotal trainer now for 2 weeks with my Glock 17 and Tavor and have added weapon transitions.
REMEMBER: Fast is slow and slow/smooth is Fast.
