Yes, I own a RAS47. Yes, I know about the cast trunnion. Yes, I still have my vision. No, it hasn't blown up.
The Troy BattleRail gas tube fit perfectly onto my Century Arms RAS47. However, the securing ring had a tendency to back itself off. Not wanting to over-torque the securing-ring, I used a dab of blue Loctite solve this issue. I've run about 5-600 rounds through it since installation, and it still holding.
