Purchased this for an 11 1/2 in barrel AR pistol to reduce felt blast and noise to the shooter. It performed better than expected. Much less felt blast and noise as compared to my Sig M 400 with 11 1/2 in barrel and stock flash suppressor. When tighten onto barrel and crush washer was compressed, the Troy logo aligned perfectly on the top of the compensator. I plan to buy a second one to replace the flash suppressor on my Sig.
Linear Muzzle Device
Was looking for something to take the sound and flash forward and to remove some of the harshness of shooting. This one does all of that. Owned typical radial muzzle device previously. This is a much improved experience.

Best I've experienced!
This device is perfect for my application! For my SBR 5.56mm I needed something that would tame the "crack" of the round exiting a 11.5" barrel. This fit the bill perfectly! I've had other forward compensators and this one is by far the best I've ever had! Troy is a great name and quality product without costing a boatload of money. I had a ear plug fall out right when I squeezed off a round and to my surprise my ear wasn't ringing! My only complaint is about the coating on the device. It comes off very easily when cleaning. I'll figure something out but I've never seen that happen with nitride.

Couldn’t believe it honestly
Used this on a 7.5” barrel foldable AR pistol… was going to sell it due to the loudness and flame interrupting visibility, but decided to give this little thing a try. Keep in mind, it is heavy, but I actually think at this short of a barrel length, it has less recoil than the muzzle brake I had on it before. Also, the flash is now mitigated in a way that make me feel safe to rely on my rifle in a home defense scenario

This is the BEST
I installed this brake for the Tactical Games competition. It was spectacular & helps in more ways than you know. One thing to remember... make sure that you don't hit your shin with it when you sling it in the front & start sprinting to your next course of fire. You'll only forget once.

great performance!
This is the best muzzle brake I have ever used! I don’t see any flash when I shoot, It even reduces recoil a little bit! It looks very cool, and it performs flawlessly. I will definitely be recommending this to anyone looking for a replacement muzzle brake.

Game Changer
Replaced the standard birdcage with this high quality brake. What a noticeable difference. All the blast out the front with no noticeable rise or loss of control. The guys next to me were so happy to be beside me now as well as all the shock and awe was out of their direction now. Buy it, you'll love it

Great product does what it says puts the recoil where it needs to be sends the blast and most of the noise forward. The front doubles as a breaching device. I love it for the money. I would purchase another one.
