Poorly designed - Troy 45 Degree Folding Battle Sights HK Front/Round Rear Iron Sights

The purpose of 45 iron sights is to run a scope with them. If you use them at the furthest mounting point on the right side like any right handed person would do they will touch the charging handle on a ar-15 while folded down. If you move them forward one slot then you put your scope at a long eye relief because the mounts are so large you would need custom ring mounts to mount it behind it. They put the drop down button on the top side also so it's so tight against even a 32mm scope that it is very hard to use. You could use high mounts but that would reduce your field of view while using them. The joints when locked upright have some play in them. About 2mm front/back and 1mm side/side.
