4-stars...not because it sucks...but because Troy didn't include an allen key
This grip is solid once mounted...perfect size and feel.
Finish is good but here is my only gripe. Troy's screw design inside the VFG is somewhat counter-sunk thus requiring a longer than usual allen...I like to use a wheeler fatwrench to get proper torque but you cannot with this VFG...unless you go purchase a long allen bit.
Troy also did not include an allen wrench ... no biggie but it would have been nice since it is a tight fit.
Solid Mlok VFG
I had an old polymer pic rail VFG and this was a great replacement. Well made, feels solid and grippy in the hand. Without the overhang to the sides we see on the BCM ones, which work great but looks out of place
Pros:
- texture is great
- Aluminium
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- compliance
- C clamp
- CQB (Close Quarters Battle)
Would recommend: Yes
Nive Change from polymer

Troy Pineapple M-LOK Foregrip
I love this grip so much I bought two more after my initial purchase. It is lightweight, the right height, and the texturing is perfect.

troy is top notch. better than polymer.
I use a few different Troy grips and they are all top notch quality. Lightweight, but durable and always grippy. The best of the best.

troy makes the best grips
I have a few different Troy grips on my guns. They are all top notch quality, and sturdy. Definitely a great upgrade from the polymer grips.

Hard to install
Be sure you have a long allen wrench snd a head lamp before installing this thing. Also be sure to use locktite. That said, it seems to function as intended, but time will tell. I'm used to company's providing the correct wrenches to install add-ons so thus the low rating.

Great fit and feei
This fore grip works for me. Texture and size feels good and fits my smaller hand. All my other fore grips are polymer so I wanted to try a different material. The lack of a fastening tool was just a small detractor but no problem. Product seems sturdy and well made. Installed this on a 9mm carbine and it works great for the purpose for which it was designed.
Pros:

Cons:

Sturdy and compact
This Troy vertical grip is awesome, great quality and very sturdy. It's compact, light, comfortable, and extremely durable. Probably better with gloves for extensive amounts of time but not necessary, rougher than rubber but you know it won't slip though, no sharp edges.
Pros:
- Quality, compact, light, durable
Cons:
- Bit rougher than rubber grips
Best Used for:
- Home defense, target practice, tactical, hunting
Would recommend: Yes
Tough and light
Seems fairly well made, not the cleanest edges but it is sturdy. For some reason the mounting hardware mine came with didn’t match and I had to go buy a new bolt. Not a huge deal, but kind of annoying. No complaints other than that!
Pros:
- light
- tough
Cons:
- Wrong hardware included
Best Used for:
- Pew pewing
Would recommend: Yes
