Bought the 10" rail for an AR pistol after a good experience with the 12" rail on my AR.

Pros:

Easy to install. 5 minutes. Clear instructions.
Locks tight around the barrel nut, doesn't wiggle.
Pic attachments fit well (Magpul MBUS and MBUS Pro, XTM rail covers, XTM fore grip, AFG2 fore grip
Lots of QD points for your sling

Cons:

Maybe a little bulky.
Tight internal diameter. Not enough room for a suppressor for the pistol build. Had to purchase a slimline/narrow flash can.

This Rail fit perfectly. I had to cut off the D ring on my Ar to fit it because it was a mid length rail on my Ar,but it fit perfectly. Came with instructions on how to install. Great construction, very sturdy. Doesn't rattle or make any noise. Great product would definitely recommend this rail for any mid length Ar.

Well, I feel that Troy makes one of the best Modular Rails on the market today. It was a perfect fit to my BCM upper and 14.5 inch barrel. For Optics Planet.com, good job on getting it shipped out fast and the great customer service. I will be doing more business with this company.

This rail is awesome. Lightweight, well vented for the gas tube while hiding the silver tube well still, EASY installation as long as youre comfortable cutting your delta ring and spring pack (which you'll have to do with any free float quad forend). T markings are awesome and the top rail matched up perfectly with my BCM upper so you get continuous upper rail estate. Offered in 3 colors (black, FDE, OD) which is awesome. Anti-rotation pins makes it stand out from other free floats, especially for the cost. ZERO wiggle like you'd get in a drop-in forend. I love that the end towards the muzzle on these are actually meant to fit around the standard end cap so you dont need to buy an aftermarket cap like other brands require for a finished look. And that design still looks awesome because it fits right around the existing end cap. Theres also 2 QD swivels on each side of the rail which is a nice touch. Why buy a drop-in when this free-float only runs around 30 or 40 bucks more? This was one of the best values and overall additions I made when building my AR.
Pros: Great color choices (black, FDE, OD), anti-rotation pins, lightweight, cost is not much more than top end drop-in systems, uses original barrel nut, no end cap needed to give it a finished look

Pros: no need for an end cap for aesthetics because this one is cut to fit over the existing one. cost is great compared to other free floats, anti-rotation pins, super lightweight, offered in black, OD, or FDE, uses existing barrel nut
Cons: so far none
