Most Helpful Positive Review does not allow stock to fully collapse
When used on my S&W M&P15T, this adapter will not allow my six position collapsable stock to lock in the fully collapsed position. I wish Troy or Optics Planet would mention that this might happen. Otherwise the installation is easy and function is great. One complaint about Optics Planet...

Does Not Fit All

I purchased for my new DB AR-15. The construction is far from pro-grade, its flimsy aluminum and feels cheap. after attempting to install the adaptor would come loose from the mount even after tightening to the fullest. Trash product!

Does not fit the Ruger AR556 correctly.

This item did not fit my Ruger AR556 correctly.Even after I tried to modify it to work on my stock tube, it would not tighten down on it.

Doesn't fit

I have a fostech stryker tech-15. The mount doesn't come close to locking down over the buffer tube nut when fully screwed down.what a disappointment. I chose Troy for quality and will be sure and stay away next time.

Good, Non Permenant Option

I got this to provide a different option for sling mounting on my service rifle. I would prefer to change the endplate but I am not able to do that on my issued weapon. This is the next best thing. Just if you leave it on for some time ensure you put CLP on it from time to time to beat the rust back.

Single point sling

Great merchant and great site, customer service too. I found this single point sling through an internet search, it is unique in that it doesn’t require taking the AR apart to install. Optics planet has a great site and was a pleasure doing business with.
