You sent the wrong grips
These grips would be perfect for the correct troy alpha rail setup. The rail I ordered was a troy mlok rail. Lack of attention to detail by optics planet. Now I need to find the correct rail covers. Also the squid grip package was opened and the grips were falling out in the box they shipped me.

must have for the Alpha rail.
These are a simple fix for the alpha rail and what i believe is the one outstanding flaw that it has.the rail system is just not very "tactile " these SHOULD be included with the rail but I digress....easy to install and provide a killer grip and improve the looks of your weapon too...get multiple packs as you will undoubtedly need them when you set up your rail.

Great grip
Allows for a comfortable secure grip on the forearm. Can save your hands on long range days. Rings stayed secure even while using a rest. You will need two sets to cover longer rails. As always great fast service from Optics Planet.

Squid grips are a must have on this handguard!
Troy should really supply 2 rail attachments instead of 4 and throw in a pack of these when you buy a handguard. Squid grips are a must have! I find that they keep the handguard cooler and Really comfortable. On a 15" handguard I need at least 2 packs of 7 so that I have some options on where and how I'm hold the rifle. I definitely recommend these and will be trying out the mlok version also.

Troy squid grips
Affordable, made by my favorite manufacturer, and plentiful. Managed to wrap enough of my alpha rail in two places. There are 7 strips of 6 little rings. Which was a pleasant surprise after trying other rail covers that don't go nearly as far. I prefer troy to anything where i can get it.

Great Grips
These gave my Troy Alpha rail a nice smooth place to grip at. No more sharp edges. And they are soft rubber so your hand no longer slips. Excellent job OP on a great product sold. And shipping was fast.

Super rail smoothing addition!
Can not say enough about the difference these squids make for grip and comfort on my Troy foregrip. The package online was not clear as to the number of squids per package, but it turns out the package includes enough to go all around the foregrip, lining and filling all the holes one could need and still providing for heat release from the barrel

Troy Squid Grips
Item is exactly as advertised. Color matches magpul FDE furniture. Fits perfectly on my Troy Alpha Rail. Grip is cmfortable and they look great. I would highly recommend the squid grips if you have an Alpha rail.

A MUST HAVE for any Alpha Rail!
You wouldn't think something so seemingly insignificant would make such a difference, but it does. They have a good positive fit and feel, and they are easy to install; the only negative thing I could say is the price point.

the product looked good felt good my only drawback was I thought it was expensive for small pieces of rubber.as far as I know they are only able to be used with the Troy rails. I haven't shot the gun much so I don't know about issues with heating or cooling.
