Great rail - Viking Tactics Troy-VTAC Delta-CX Rail

Installed this rail on a flat top Windham Weaponry 16" upper. Install was easy and I'm very pleased with the end result. It's very solid and aligns perfectly with the picatinny gas-block, with just a small gap on either side. It's a true, full free-float rail and since it extends farther towards the barrel it allows you to get a longer sight plane and use polymer flip-ups without worrying about heat/melting. The single lower rail section is perfect for a vertical grip. I intended this build to be a slim, lightweight carbine and with a Magpul fixed carbine stock (good FDE color match as well) balance is perfect, with the center point right at the delta ring. One could always add additional rail sections for more accessories if desired, but I like the look and feel just as is.
